I can’t hide it. I love art documentaries. I love artists’ biographies and different art movements’ documentation. So when I read about Handmade Nation on poppytalk, I had to look a little more into it. Handmade Nation is a documentary about artists, designers and more that believe that despite today’s technologies making art and design modern. These people around the nation believe that there is still a relationship between DIY and art/design. It comes out in 2009 and I can’t wait!

The 2008 election is fueling Saturday Night Live and other comedy shows. I think at this point, we can rely on an SNL skit every week until the election. As long as Sarah Palin is part of the race for the White House, we will see Tina Fey doing impressions.
